nabby or tosk. who would you trade or would you keep both of them? i keep hearing other shark fans say that they want nabby out. if they make a move i would keep nabby. <_<

Someone has to be willing to take Nabokov's salary and give up enough to make the trade worthwhile to SJ. I think he has a no-trade clause as well. All in all, he's much harder to move than Toskala.

I think Toskala is better, plus he was OK in the playoffs last year

plus his mask is SWEET

and whatever they get in return should be a pretty decent player(s) or high draft picks

Am I the only one that thinks they should just keep rotating them? Theyve both been on and off this season. When they let in 6 goals or however many its always nice to have the other there to get in and go. I dont think they should move either. But then again, I guess they need improvement somewhere.....maybe the blueline?

I think the Sharks need a top-4 defenseman who is able to play on the powerplay. Maybe the Kings might look to move a guy like Tverdovsky + pick(s) now that both Garon and Cloutier are out...Cloutier for the season as it appears. On the other hand the Kings aren´t going anywhere this year so who knows. Other than that I don´t see many teams who might offer something worthwhile for an 1a goalie...maybe Minnesota or Phoenix?

For this season, I think San Jose should keep them both. They are both very good goaltenders and the rotation is working out great for them. Unfortunately, San Jose won't be able to keep rotating them season after season. While I think Toskala is the better goalie, it would be much harder to get rid of Nabokov due to his high salary and no-trade clause, if they find a team that needs him or wants him, they could probably get a good deal. I would hate to see either of them leave though.

Keep both goalies for this season. Keep rotating them and see how far they get in the playoffs. Then decide from there.

They should keep rotating both as they had success so far doing just this.

I think they may follow suit with what Minnesota did with the Fernandez-Roloson dilemma. A team in playoff contention without a solid starter may want to pick up either Nabby or Vesa.

It turned out pretty good for both Manny and Dwayne.

I think it's great to have two good goalies, instead of one star goalie and a backup who plays like 4 games a season (kiprusoff and brodeur...) but I guess Nabokov and Toskala both want to play more than they are now

I think both of the goalies are good,they both have playoff experience, Nabby going depper than Vesa, but I think it's hard too pick one that has to go. I have seen it with my 2 eyes, Nabby plays all the hard teams all the contenders. Vesa on the other hand plays all the weaker teams the teams the Sharks should trounce on. How many times has he (Vesa) played the Kings? Nabby on the other hand, has lost to ANA x2, Dal, Det. It's like he has to pitch a shutout just to get a W. It comes down to money, Nabby probably will be harder to move because of cap room, other teams, but take into consideration at whose contracts that you have coming up in the next few years.
