Question about ccm helmets

I haven't been following the ccm helmets at all but i wanted to know what the differences between the ccm HT500 and the 1052 tacks were, and why the prices are so different?

Don't know the technical info, but the 1052 is last year's model, while the 500 is from the years before that.

If I remember correctly, the 1052 has screws/plates for the length adjustment for a more secure fit in place of the HT500's tool-free plastic clickers. I think the liner is different too with the 1052 having some memory gel/foam in place of the HT500's more traditional type foam. Outter shell's the same AFAIK.

the two helmets are actually nearly identical from what i've seen. just different adjustment systems

Bulletproof_Funk is right.

The 1052 has screws, the 500 had that Pro-Lok. The 1052 also has the memory foam - the 500 had little foam cutouts.
