Cost = 1 Bundle, Team = Pick Up :D

I don't really play for any specific team. Just pick up hockey. I'm just at that age where you have expendable cash for your hobbies and hockey is what my wife and I do for our recreation.

My team is The Harrow Hackers

And we will be starting a new coed league in Windsor in the summer. The CNHL (Coed Naked Hockey League). In the past we've always had summer pick up but the interest is taking off enough to start a 4 team league. Coed Naked Hockey

There is also the fact that, regardless of the colors, the same patterns are used.

::m

yeah, but once I got the strange idea (or whatever you want to call it) that if you didn't really care, why not just get one big sheet?

Because most companies aren't set up to do that. They have to use the same dies to cut the material regardless of the color(s) that are used. That is going to leave the graphic there even if it's obscured by the use of a single color Smith has a pad that uses a single sheet but he doesn't put a graphic on that pad at all (the SP3000).

I challenge someone to show me uglier pads that they actually ordered that way.

This is my current set,

Scan10134.jpg

It's a Typical Vaughn Combo, V1 Blocker (completely stock), V1 Pads (35+2), and the best selling glove of all time (for Vaughn at least) the T5500 (My 3rd). If you're wondering the Embroidery on all the peices says "TEAMFAT 00".

Apart from that, I am getting rid of my Reactor 6000 Goal Pants, and Helite 5 (which is hacked apart from home mods) Chest in favor of the Vaughn EPIC Chest and Pant. I'll have pictures when they get in.

I am in an Eddy Custom Kevlar Goal mask (which is in dire need of some new paint, a cage, and new padding), and Graf 650 Goal Skates.

I am also working on figuring out what stick spec.'s I want so I can order up a pack of new sticks. I have used Sher-woods for the last couple years. I tried the 9950 (too heavy), the 5530 (not durable enough, but perfect if you can afford a new stick every month), the C-10 (currently testing, and very similar to the next stick), and numerous pro-return and stock 7000's (my favorite model).

If any one asks, I am double cupping, and it's fantastic. Greatest Idea EVER.
