HGT Gloves = Bad Durabilty?

Recommended Posts

I am on my second pair of TPS HGT gloves. My first pair were pro-stock knit HGT's, I loved them and had no problems. Now I am on another pair of retail leather HGT's. After using them for four games of no check indoor roller, my gloves already look like complete junk. Now I have not done anything to these gloves to make the leather peel like it is. I have been putting them in a separate bag inside my bag since I got them, and if they are aren't on my hands they hanging up in my room. I understand I'm pretty much screwed when it comes to sending them back or something, but I was just wondering if anyone else experienced this with leather HGT's?

a teammate has them and he's had them for atleast 13-14 months. The palms are shot but otherwise they're in good condition. He's on the ice 2-3 times a week between games and pick up.

i absolutely destroyed my leather hgt's in a season and a half of full contact hockey, but i'm extremely hard on gear, and never go lightly in the corners. i've got cable knit now, and after a year with them, they're just starting to get scuffed up, with some knicks here and there

Ive had some all leather HGT's for the last year or so. Im rough on gear and play an awful-lot and the gloves just now started getting holes in the palms. The graphics on the leather didnt tear up to bad.

But hey man, battle wounds arnt a bad thing are they?
