Teemu Selanne big blade pattern...

I saw that Selanne uses a blade pattern that I love. The blade is big (high) and the curve seems to be open. I'm looking for a big blade like Selanne uses, but I can't found anything close in store. If I found one of this blade I'll send it to a compagny to make my custom pattern. Can you tell me where I can find a blade like this one or something I can do to have this type of pattern. The problem is that I can't use Selanne Pro Pattern, cause I'm left handed... Let me know. Thank you !

His pro Response Lites are on a website for sale, so maybe if a member here buys one you can buy the blade if/when it breaks. Any company can mirror the pattern.

That would be nice... But, since how long does he left the TPS Response ? Cause I think he switch to a bigger blade not too long ago because the ice surface is really bad in most arena and he can control the puck a lot better.

Maybe buy a Pro Stock Selanne, send it to a company and have them mirror it?

Thank you, I found the pro stock stick you were talking about on EWH, but that's what I was thinking... He didn't use the big blade with this pattern. This is not the one I'm looking for. The curve of the blade is also a little bit to big.

Companies can change the width/height of a pattern too, so you wouldn't necessarily need the exactly duplicate. I don't know though, seems kind of a waste to want a custom pattern from something you haven't even been able to try.

Mack, you help me a lot. I didn't know that compagnies can modify a pattern you like. I never done a custom pattern before. I already played with a big blade like Selanne is using and love it. It's much more easy for face off, one timers on bad passes, passes reception and deflection. But I don't want a big curve like the Response. Just a mid curve with an open toe.

I'm from Montreal, can I go directly to the compagnies (Nike Bauer, Rbk, Sherwood or Easton) with my blade and told them what I want ? Do they have a computer with all the blades available or something like that ?

Yeah, they can adjust stuff like that but I'd do that in person or over a phone because that's tricky stuff since you won't have a clone. Maybe you could give them a retail blade's height as a reference or something.

As for who to go to, your LHS should be able to hook you up. Sher-Wood is a common one to go thru and I've heard great things about TPS.

macks right, TPS used to do my AAA teams custom orders and they usually nailed it and did a great job...the turnaround time just took FOREVER.

while I know for a fact it's not as deep of a curve, but the Sherwood Bouchard blade is pretty wide... It's a bit wider than all of my other stick blades. I would check it out.. if you like that width.... you could always take Mack's advise and start from there with Sherwood.

I am looking for a Teemu Selanne blade to have Sherwood make a LH mold of. Can anyone help me out?
