Skate Question, opinions

When it comes to a skate that has not been released to the public, it is difficult for anyone to give an objective opinion on a skate. I can tell you that when the NBH rep was at my LHS in NY, he brought a pair of 9Ds....my size. I tried them on and I thought they felt just like the XXX.

It is all a matter of personal preference. Personally I liked the feel of the One90 better, and the durability of the One90 is the best I have seen since the 8090.

As most educated people here will tell you:

Try them on before you buy them.

I am looking for a performance skate, and ive narrowed it down to these two, just looking to hear what others have heard on both models.

the part that i find humorous about this thread is that you are asking for others opinions on "BOTH" models... you for some reason or another, which i really don't care, have the ability to get the XXXX early, which others won't yet you ask for people's opinion on the XXXX. sure, members have the One90's and they will gladly give you their opinion, but why ask about a skate that you know people don't have yet. i'm sorry, but to me this is merely a thread to let people know that you can get a skate before they can.

Agree...why go the NBH route anyway.

Actually I asked because I thought some of you have maybe talked to NBH reps, thats all, and just seeing if people have heard anything else. I was not expecting comments like that to be fired at me, sorry if my asking for some people's help on here offends you. and I have tried them on now. I was seeing if I could get any more specs on it from people who know a thing or two about hockey because i figured this being a hockey equipment fourm, people would know, and if they don't thats totally understandable, I was not expecting there to be alot that knew, but I took the chance to see. That being said, once again thanks for those that took the time to respond in a positive manner.
