Finger grips

Hey guys,

I've searched a couple of topics, but I didn't really see an answer. I'm having problems with my current stick turning in my hands while I shoot. I added some candy cane taping, and that seemed to help, but I was wondering if anyone who uses finger-grip style tape jobs could tell me if it helps? Will a finger-grip on my butt-end help stop the stick from turning when I shoot?

Can't say I've ever seen it on any other part but the handle. Do you care if that would add any weight to the stick? Give it a whirl, see how you likes. Maybe only do it on the part of the shaft you hold when shooting, no need to go all over.

Maybe a more squared shaft would help if the one you are using now has rounded corners? What are the palms of your gloves like- thick/new?

The shaft is a Mission M-1, and its rounded compared to my Ultra Lite. My palms are Digital Vector pro's, and they are still in great shape.
