mack 44 Report post Posted February 8, 2007 I've seen software to do it for about $10 that I'd been meaning to give a whirl. Yes, you'd need a cable to transfer unless you use bluetooth.

I think i read in one of the threads about recording the tone on your computer, then texting it to yourself through some website. It wasn't very clear about how to do that though. Any thoughts? TBLfan 25 Report post Posted February 9, 2007 it depends on what carrier you have whether you can text it to yourself. Just a FYI, I use wavepad(it's free to download, google it) to cut my mp3s and use motorola phone tools to transfer ringtones to my moto v710(yeah, it's 2 years old :( ). Wavepad is awesome, you can basically do everything one there as any other program for music I've used. AND IT'S FREE!!!
