Easton SL Pro Stock or is it?

ok, i bought what I thought was a Easton Synergy SL at nationals for 100 bucks or so about 1 or 2 months ago (i forget when) and today for some strange reason realized it doesn't say "SL" where the retail ones say "SL" it's silver/blue like the regular SL's but doesn't have a name on it and says the usual "pro stock no warranty.. blah blah.. now my question to you's is, is it really a SL?

I've had some that I bought from the Stars that are that way, so it seems legit.

i used to have one like that.. although i didnt get it at national

and it was an SL.

i weighed it to be sure.. and it was lighter...

Interesting you bring that up- some of the pro stock SL's I've seen/bought have been really nutty too. Some had the "Therma-Tec" logo near the blade, some didn't... My brother said the one he picked up from my LHS felt exactly like his old Easton Stealth (05, I think? The first run).... and I know some sites boast "Pro Stock Si-Core SL's"...

we were both figuring they weren't...as maybe some of the NHL'ers liked the older run Eastons, and they wanted to get the "SL look" out there to appeal to us kids.....but I'm curious to see what some of the guys here have to say.

All the pro stock Synergies/Stealths just say Synergy or Stealth not the extra word like ST,SL,etc.

mine says "Therma-Tec" whatever that means.. lol was just wondering.. been using it for awhile now and it's great.. so it doesnt matter much.. was just curious :)

the ones I picked up felt great, loved the pattern.... but I don't think a 600lb gorilla could have flexed it... I read online the Coburn pro stock was a 120, and I cut about 2.5 inches off of it. It was hell... so I parted with them.

well the one I have it's a forsberg look-a-like and it's about 95-105flex i would think.. i was able to flex it but not like a 85

I have some Kvashas and they're all grip and I think two of them didn't have the SL logo on them but they feel just the same as the others. Who knows, I may be wrong and these could be Royales or Vaper XVs or some crap.

neither of my iginla st's say "ST" on them. another thing i noticed about them is when i took the end cap off to cut them it inside stickers on both said SL100 and some other letters/numbers.

yeah, one of mine actually had a little black button toward the butt-end... I pressed it... turned out to be an umbrella painted like an SL...
