two piece shafts

Recommended Posts

whats a two peice shaft?

do u mean like a blade and a shaft?

i would not reccomend any nikebauer shafts, i would honestly get a different brand shaft, and if you like nikebauers curve, then just get one of their blades!

buy them at yoiur lhs

NBH is coming out with the new XXX lite tapered shaft and blade combo. So if you like the Bauer OPS then youd probably like the two piece as well. Just my two cents, my favorite shaft of all time is the Easton Ultra Lite. Nothing fancy about it but overall a great shaft.

NBH shafts? They haven't been even released yet, have they?

Why are you stuck on the company?

You might be able to find some decent Bauers (without the 'Nike' preceeding it) on clearance somewhere. If you can hunt them down, buy yourself some TFGs - they're essentially the same thing as the old Inno 1100 (standard) and the Warrior AK27 (I've owned bunches of all three - the only real difference is the grip and the Wheelbarrow butt-end). Good shafts. If you can find them (HUGE "if"), buy them.

If you know anyone who works at a LHS talk to them about purchasing multiple shafts. Don't be shy or afraid to ask for a discount, as he may be able to cut you a deal.

Dont just go up to a guy in a shop you don't know though.

Find a Vapor XV if you can. Best stick i've ever used. You might be able to get one for cheap since they don't make them anymore.

I use a Bauer Endure shaft and Easton ST blade. I'm all about durability and some oomph on my hacks and slashes :)

Not realy suprising a guy with Tim McCracken in his avatar likes a solid piece of lumber :)

I had a Bauer Vapor X shaft that was pretty expensive a few years ago, they don't make it now but it was a piece of crap. I snapped two, one about 3 inches above where the blade went in and another almost right in the middle. They broke very easily with little use.... get a warrior they're great shafts

Kind of a funny post considering those Vapor X shafts, at least the early ones were made by Innovative...the company Warrior bought out to make their sticks, funny how you say what essintally is the same shaft one is great the other a piece of crap.

I usually prefer my shafts to be in one piece, but that's just me. Bauer didn't much, if any, shafts last year so it's going to be hard find a deal on a good one. If you can find TFG, X or XV shafts at a good price, I would suggest them. I would stay away from and of the vapor series below the X.

So far Nike Bauer doesnt have any shafts right now next year they will have the Vapor XXX lite and the One90 in 2 piece but if you want durability go with the Bauer Endure
