Itech HC95

Can you guys share some experience with this helmet? Seeing how the liner is EPP, I assume it is similar to the bauer 4000?

I had the HC100 and didn't like the fit or the look. I think if you're in the market for a new bucket, the NikeBauer 4500 is the way to go.

When i started playing i used a bauer 1000, fitted perfectly.

When i switched to the 4000 as a natural progression when i needed a new helmet, i found that they fit completey differently, i switched to the hc95 after trying out a friends and it fit alot like my old bauer 1000.

My head is quite thin (side to side) but quite long (front to back), thats why i had trouble with the bauer 4000L, and the 4000M was too small even at its maximum setting.

i think nike/bauer have changed the interals of the 4000(4500) since i wore it, so it might fit differently.

I use the HC95 and have no complaints. When I was shopping for buckets I tried a lot on and found the Itech worked best for my pointy head.

With the HC95 I use Itech's HX50 visor attachment system. It's certified and it makes for easy cleaning and defog treatments. Obviously the two are easily compatible. The HX50 visor attachment system is on the heavy side but they address that with the newer X100 system.

As you likely know, Itech has a good reputation for head and face protective. It's decent stuff and the price tends to be pretty good too.
