Pro Hockey Shop

Depends on what you are looking for and where in NJ. Im live here, and I know a few sports shops that specialize in hockey but I have never run across a mega store. I live in Monmouth County, Central East Jersey.

We should have some kind of LHS directory on this site, so wherever we go, we never have to go the whole trip without browsing/buying hockey equipment.

www.purehockey.com

Best hockey stores in New England.

I second Dr Hook... Pure Hockey is fantastic. Go to www.purehockey.com for all their locations.

Their store in Marlborough is amazing...but Braintree is my weekly stop. It's about 20 minutes South of the city.

Okay, I will ONLY visit NY city. Any good shops around that area?

Oh, by the way, I'm gonna buy warrior dolos. How can I get that back on the way home? Should I bring a stick bag and send it with me?

I was in NYC in Dec, best shop I could find was the SkyRink pro shop down by Chelsea Piers. Pretty ordinary prices really, if you are in NYC hold off till you are back home, order online or even jump over to NJ and see Darkstar and his shop. I didn't get time to make the trip and Im regretting it now.

In Manhattan you have Wonderland at Chelsea Piers, Cosbys at MSG and Paragon downtown.

In Queens and Long Island you have Sports Plus (Ridgewood and New Hyde Park), also their are a couple Play it Again's on the Island as well.

You are better off in Canadian Tire than a Modell's in NYC! Send me a pm when you are going to be in NYC. What are you looking for anyway?

I haven't had to shop there in a while, but I could always find items on sale at Paragon

you won't find Warrior @ DarkStar's shop though!
