I'm thinking about roadtripping to Philly to check out the new park and to boo the Phillies like a local. How hard is it to get weekend tickets at the box office on gameday?

Yeah, we're pretty siked about the Phils down here since the Flyers and Sixers are an absolute joke. But Phils tix really aren't too bad to come by. Depends when you are coming too, tix sales start to drop off between June-Mid July and then pick up for the playoff run again. Let me know when you plan on coming down, I'll do some research for you

In the planning stages now, so we'll probably buy our tix ahead of time just to be on the safe side. Psyched to check out your city, I've been before but haven't truly gotten to hang out too much.

Any city that jocks cheesteaks is A-OK by me. I think I'll adopt the Phils as my NL team.

You're going to be one unhappy baseball fan.

Oh yeah, half of my interest in attending a Phillies game is to witness how unhappy and negative their fans are if the Phils are having a bad year. I'll be able to boo the Phils with the rest of them.

Nice park from what I've seen. Never been in it, but it's right under the approach for runway 26 so I get a good look at it on a regular basis. The Eagles field is a little nicer though, you can actually make out faces and numbers on their jumbo-tron.

I agree with that notion. Citizen's felt very cramped, especially in Ashburn Alley, and their execution of a classic-themed park lacks in comparison to PNC park.

I think it's also because it's not near anything. It's hard to have a classic-themed park that isn't really close to the city.

one of the main reasons i cant wait for the phils season...also me and a few of my buds last year hit up like 8 or 9 ballparks on a trip last summer and i would have to agree that pittsburgh is definitely the nicest park. Detroit and St. Louis are also up there too.
