Help: Easton ST Hockey Blade 07 (low kickpoint)

Recommended Posts

This blade is for standard, not tapered, shafts. The only value to this blade is the money Easton saved in materials. TPS will be getting a lot of blade business this season.

i read on here that warrior blades break really fast in an easton z-bubble shaft because it is different than other regular shafts.

I wanted to buy this blade for my z-bubble shaft. What other company makes blades that would be compatable with a zbubble?

TPS PTC would be a good choice.

The reason why Warriors blades cause Z-Bubble to break is that they have a shorter tenon (the part that goes into the shaft) than other blades. I'm sure the tenon on this blade is the same length as Easton's other blades so it would probably work fine. This blade just has a shorter hosel (the shaft part of the blade between the tenon and blade face) which is suppose to lower the kick point on a standard shaft.

A lot of people really like the Easton Z-Carbon blade in their Z-Bubbles. Also, as someone else mentioned, the TPS PTC would work well.

Assuming he isn't looking for durability.

I've had issues with the Z-Carbons for quite some time now (pretty much every time I decide to experiment and get away from OPS), and breakage has only gotten worse since I started using the CNT Z-Carbons in my AK27 shafts. The performance is terrific, but the blades won't stop breaking, cracking or going soft.
