shaft isn't hollow

i just broke my pro-stock synergy sl grip, the shaft fits perfectly a tapered blade, but the stick isnt hollow, i cant see through it, whats with that, all other sticks i have had have been hollow.

your probabley right, theres a good chance its just some of that left over foam and crap from the blade that got stuck in the shaft.

Don't know if this is the case with SLs, but I know some manufacturers use a "bladder" in creating the shaft, which ends up left inside and shipped to consumers.

it could be a number of things blocking you from seeing through it: left over glue from an end plug, left over plastic from a bladder(although I don't think SLs use a bladder process), piece of the original hosel.

high end easton shafts = compression molding. no bladders.

It was a pro stock. who know what they may have put in there for the player. If the blade fits in there, then plug it in and play with it. It wasn't hollow before the blade broke either.
