P88 Lindros curve - old vs new

Recommended Posts

Hi

I couldnt find the thread but i remember someone said that the current lindros curve is not the same as a few years back, is that true?

I bought some (3 years old) bauer wavebridge blades and the lindros is allmost exactly what i was looking for. But since the blade is 3 years old i'd like to ask if the curve is the same as the current lindros?

My LHS has no lindros curves so i cant compare them by my self..

The other question is: I realy like the curve, but i would need a slightly lower lie. Is there any lindros clone with a lower lie?

i have a lindros curve on my backup nikebauer vapor XXX lite and its basically a normal mid-heel, moderate, round toe blade. i think the lie is 6, so any mid curve in the warrior line would be good, Forsberg or Heatley in Easton sticks as their lies are both 5, Elias in mission sticks (5 lie), or perhaps tkachuk in TPS (lie 5).

hope this helps.

forgot ccm, look for recchi (lie 5)

Any idea why its no longer a 5?

Mikeo could probably answer it better than I can. My uneducated guess would be they switched factories and this is how the new place makes them.

The one you've got pictured there is, for all intents and purposes, a lindros. I've been using the curve forever, thats a pretty typical one. What I have noticed, and maybe this is where the problem arises, is that the wood blades and straight up wood sticks in Lindros have a completely different curve than the one-pieces. I used those old black bauer woodies (3000 or something?) for a real long time, then mid-season switched to XXX-lites and the difference was pretty noticeable. Every composite Lindros I've had (quite a few I break sticks like a fiend) has been a way bigger curve than any of my old wood numbers. I don't know if this is normal but Bauer has a problem with it I think. When I was real young me and my brother used to order the old supremes in the Bure pattern by the dozen and would get legit 12 slightly different curves with each shipment, so who knows. But ya that looks pretty lindros to me.
