Warrior Kronik

Recommended Posts

can you compare it to some other sticks that you've used?

in an unbiased fashion?

what i mean by that is... we don't care what Warrior or the guy that sold the thing says, what's your experience with it?

Is it similar to SE or to One90?

Has a MUCH more solid feel when shooting than the xxx-lite, but as stated before that could be mental coming from an older whipped-out stick. After about two months of heavy use it still seems to have good kick to it, and is not going soft. Most of the others I have let take some limited shots with it they also feel the little bit of "snap" when shot.

It feels more solid than the older black and chrome Easton Stealth in the heel, blade, and taper zone in my opinion. No comparison to a CCM Vector 8.0. I know the 8.0's not top of the line, but the Kronik is just a lot better feeling stick. Livlier than any TPS I've used (XN10, Adrenaline, Response...) Just overall feels like a very solid stick

Just since you mentioned the old Stealths, I was hoping if you could answer this; The old stealths, at least it felt like it to me, had a thinner shaft, which I really liked. Does this as well?

If not, anyone know a stick that does? I've held the SE and it feels like thats at least similar

Pretty much any easton stick (besides the stealth) has felt bulky to me. Its probably the shape of the shaft more than anything. I like the feel of tps shafts. My XXX lite feels is a nice medium between the two.

Hey willc7786, I think I know what you mean. I have had like 5 of the old stealths and I loved the feel of them. The only problem was they always seemed to break. I still have 2 of them and on 1 the toe of the blade is just ruined. They were lighter than the new Stealth CNT's, but didn't hold up as well. That boxy feel on those CNT's is a bit annoying. Even though the CNT's have held up a little better I still have a huge hole on the heel of mine. The old stealths were much more round and felt much more natural to me too. I tried an SL it was really nice and felt much more round than the CNT's. My slapshot had never been better, but then it broke after about 2 months.

I got mine and gave it a whirl for 1 game and I did not like it. The shaft felt overly stiff as did the blade....I just was not able to feel the puck very well with the stick. I did end up selling it to one of my teammates though....so I will be able to post about it later with regards to durability.

I think a lot of that is due to the fact that it is somewhat unbalanced

Old topic, I know, but I was wondering if one of the mods wanted to open up a review thing for the Warrior Kronik. I've had it for about 2 months and would be happy to do a full review. Thanks

I opened it, but you need to be much more descriptive in your reviews. I did not approve your 4-Roll glove one because you essentially said that you loved the glove and it was perfect for you.

Read other reviews and draw from that.

I agree, felt that the blade provided little feel for the puck, even less than the dolo. This would be with the view that the xxxlite provdes great feel for the puck.

But...but...it's got Spyne technology! Spyne, man, Spyne!

That might just be the biggest load of s&*t I have heard in some time.

To paraphrase:

It's not the kid's fault when the shot is not accurate.

This stick will correct poor technique and poor aim.

I guess as long as there are rich parents out there with dillusional kids, Warrior's place in the market will be secure.

The other day at my LHS i was shooting pucks with the manager who let me try the kronik behind the shop on a synthetic ice mini rink thing. And he was telling me stuff about it and one thing he said which i haven't heard before is he compared it to a cavity back golf club and said how cavity back golf clubs are a lot more forgiving than the other kind (lol i forgot what the not cavity back ones are called) and that is what the spyne technology thing is like. I'm not much of a golfer so I don't know about the cavity back technology but is this true that it might help the blade?
