Pros: lightweight, responsive

Cons: crappy steel/hardware

Not a fan of the Parabolic steel - I've skated it with the "standard" (non parabolic) steel.

As an avid Easton skate user I can tell you what J.R. said is absolutely correct. The holders themselves aren't too bad but the parabolic steel blades have the tendency to crack or break when hit by a hard shot from a puck. They can also crack from very hard cornering and contact at the boards or in the corners. So far I haven't experienced this but I don't play contact on a regular basis so I can't really make a fair assessment of the second statement.I'm only going on what I've heard from other guys. Without a doubt though solid blades are better than perforated ones. If I ever replace my holders I will probably go with either the Mission Pitch 3 holder or the Nike/Bauer lightspeed holder. They have a much better track record than the Razor Blade holder.

Used the razor blades holders for 3-4 years before switching to Light Speeds. I liked them because they were light and like the others said responsive. Also thought I could turn / corner better with those holders. However, sometimes when stopping, the holders would chatter on the ice. Durability wise, I broke 1 steel when I stepped on a puck.
