I haven't heard anyone this bad since Roenick at the World Cup a couple years ago. I'm sure the NHL really appreciates him ripping on the teams, officials and players. It's bad enough in studio but he should never do color commentary again.

I just finished watching the NHL on NBC telecast of Wings-Jackets. Worst commentary I've ever heard, it was just dudes yelling nonstop and making dumb comments. I felt bad for Doc Emerick having to work around those maroons.

McGuire can be good at times but seems like in some situations he just wants to talk. Especially when he started complaining about the penalties with a couple of minutes left to go in the game. I'm pretty sure if the ref would not have called those, he still would have yelled and complained.

I only watched the third period of the game, and I agree. Brett Hull complaining about the last two minutes of the game was completely classless. I don't even think they called the game, all they did was talk and yell. It was hard to watch.

It was horrible. I didnt watch the entire game cause I couldnt take it. Hey Brett, just cause you were good ten years ago doesnt mean you can rip on everyone now. Im pretty sure you retired for a reason.

It's one thing to be the outspoken former player, but do it with class and at least be funny. Hull is neither classy nor funny.

Anyone notice his "Zero percent chance of Datsyuk re-signing in Detroit" comment? Hull eluded to Datsyuk hating Babcock. I like Hull's wit and how he speaks his mind but the idea of Datsyuk leaving is ridiculous. He may leave but all signs point to him staying. The guy is literally building a house in Detroit as we speak and is making a very solid push for being re-signed.

Who knows, its interesting though. I wouldn't mind a Datsyuk Caps jersey. :lol:
