I am not soncidering the idea of driving my car over it that is just too crazy.

I'm pretty sure you can get your glove molded (like in a skate baking oven). What kind of glove do you have?

Or, just put it on and keep working it, opening and closing it. Also, when I wash my glove and pu tit on, the leather forms right to my hand, you might want to try that. Might not be safe though, I'm not too sure...

sweat in it, or before you play in it pour some water into it or spray water on with a spray bottle, then during practice keep opening and closing it. It should open up.

Running over it with your car will work brilliantly :D

But you could try what my goalie friend does: Load up the pocket full of pucks and then tie the glove up to stretch out the pocket.

What I do is use it and Take it home, put a softball or a bunch of pucks in the pocket and set it under something heavy like a sofa. Put the edge of it right over the thumb and she should loosen up for you nicely. Keep doing that until you feel toatlly comfortable with it. Keep in mind you need to play in it while you are trying these things or it will take even longer.

at night- rub a little bit of baseball glove softener on it, throw pucks in the webbing and put a belt around it. Shove it in between your mattress and box-spring just like a ball glove.

during the day- wear it around the house. watch tv, and just toss a puck into the webbing, snap it shut... not only good for break in, but it's not too bad for your hand.

...to each his own though, we could probably give you 100 ways to break it in. I know a guy who literally used to FILL his glove at the water fountain before games. Granted, it was a p.o.s. and smelled haggard.

well i had a hell of a time with my TPS summit glove. after tying every trick i had heard of - most of which have already been mentioned - the only really great thing to do was to put it on my hand and open and close it continuously. did for about an hour a day. hand hurt like a bitch every time too.

if goal gloves are anything like baseball gloves you can tie it up and soak it in glove oil over a night or two, and it softens up the glove making it more comfortable and easier to open and close (or atleast im pretty sure thats what it is)

Should have baked it. My bro had a summit glove and thats what I did. Came out super soft. Could have saved yourself a lot of labor ;)

when i bought my glove, it was 2 sizes too big. i bought a Mission Elite glove and blocker. i put a like mini basket ball in the pocket, tied a big rubber band around it, and then kept it like that over night.then, i dont know how, but i managed to open it and stretch a rubber band around it while it was open. so now my pocket is HUGE and it opens and closes like a dream. and when im playing, before every shot i take, i get my stick and hit my pocket, so it widens it.

Instead of hitting it with my stick, I take the sideboard of my blocker and mash it down against the top part of my glove, spreading it. But, it looks like I'm clapping my hands or whatever whenever I take a shot.
