i just bought new inline skates. mission HE 5500 quatros

when i first got them they fit me perfectly i skated around in them at the store for a while and they felt great so i bought them.after my first inline practice i developed a blister on the inside of my foot just bellow the ankle . its about the size of a toonie.... both feet have a blister on the same spot just one is huge the other is something i would expect with breaking in new skates. i was wondering if i should go and get them baked and see how well they feel afterwards . since ive only skated in them twice since i bought them... or should i just ditch them and see if the store will take them back and mabybe find a differnt skate all together.

stilll got the same problems with my skates. I'd suggest just taping up that area. Someone did suggest using duct tape, which has a slippery surface which may prevent the prob.

Baking helps a lot, but I had foot pains with my 10000s when I first got them, and now they've gone away.

Im experiencing that right now, hopefully we get the same end result.

No need to bake them. You should be fine in couple of sesions. They break in very fast. Maybe to fast...

Yeah, but baking them does help them mold around the ankles real nice. And it's kind of fun to sit around the house watching the playoffs while haveing well warmed hockey skates on...lol

Hey guys

I just bought a pair of 750 Quatro Missions. I'm just wondering if I could use a blow dryer or a heat gun to mold these at my house. I would like to break these in a bit quicker then they are. What other methods will work?

Had the same problem recently when I went from Proto Vi's to 7500's. Do you wear socks? I didn't in my Proto's (never had in 20+ years of playing ice/in-line). I wore the 7500's without socks a few times and it tore my feet up. Switched to a thin sock and they feel great. Having them baked helped quite a bit as well.
