Question regarding Mission Hockey's marketing

Recommended Posts

I'm wondering why Mission is only marketing the Wicked Light glove as a roller hockey glove. Obviously it can be used for ice hockey (a glove is a glove), but it's not on their 2007 ice catalogue. It's a decent looking glove, so i'm just confused why they left it out.

I think that relegating some products to "inline only" status and downplaying their effectiveness for ice hockey is a mistake. It's not the only one since the merger either.

i know a bunch of people that use mission goal and "roller hockey" gloves in ice leagues. It is a shame they dont market it that way. I have he750 and use them for both inline and ice. Next pair are going to be wicked 1s.

It's a decent looking glove

I beg to differ.

... Oh, but I just looked at their website, and it's listed in both the roller hockey and actual hockey sections.

It's just not in there 2007 ice hockey catalogue. I thought it was also missing in the ice hockey section of their website.

Tried these gloves on at purehockey in Boston... really nice gloves, too bad they don't come in nylon.

How did you like the store? They're selection has been kinda 'eh' lately...

AnthonyJTa, I loved Pure Hockey.... it is the best hockey store i have ever been to. I found the selection unbelievable and the prices were excellent too. I got my dolo there, but had a hard time deciding which stick to get (not used to such a large selection). It was too bad I didn't need new gloves because I found quite a few pairs that I really liked. Overall just a great store. By the way I think I might have seen you there :P (don't know what you look like) but just heard a guy with 2 friends discussing the new white 9k pumps and thought hmmm could that be him.
