Anyone try this stick, or the gear Hornet? Thinking of buying a couple from hockey giant because they're very cheap...

Is that the yellow one? I've heard that they're ok for roller. Also hear it torques a bit and the blade in thin.

Guys on my team have them. They are not light, but not heavy (will guess somewhere around the 500 gram range?). For the money? They're decent. I mean, I think you can get them shipped for $50? While a woodie is $30-40? Seems the way to go if on a budget.

I bought two Hornet's awhile back when they had a buy one get one free deal at Hockey Giant. The first one broke at stick & puck after about five minutes of use. The other one lasted a good while but broke one night when I took a faceoff.

I guess they're OK as long as you don't take slap shots or face offs but don't think you're getting a $40 Dolomite.
