TPS RB11 PTC blades

I was just wondering if anyone had used one of these blades. I was thinking of getting one or maybe an X-1. Just wondering about everyones thoughts.

PTCs are hard to come by right now, there was a delay in getting them produced and/or shipped. X1's are great and the blades on teh XN10 and R+ (same as a PTC) are excellent as well.

either 49.99 or 59.99 not sure. I know the XV is going for 59 so its probably the same.

I work at a store too, and we have them. But nobody has bought one, so I dont know anyone to talk to around here about it. I was just wondering if people like them as much as Z-Carbon blades, or if they perform the same.

Everyone I've talked to loves the feel of the xn10/R+ blade, and its essentially the same thing.

ptc and r2 blades are they made the same way? same material?

Should be, some of the earlier R2 blades seemed a little different. All of the ones being produces now should be the new blade that is on the PTC, R2, R+, and Xn10s.

the 04 r2s are tps pre-preg, the 03 are the old response blade.

The X1 blades look pretty much the same as the actual blade on the xn10, PTC, etc. Even has the same weird indent I had my GI Xn10's. Plus they are light. As for the PTC, I didnt post this when it first happened but my PTC lasted 2 games. It cracked on the hosel, at the channel. Not sure if it was a bad batch or what but TPS took care of me. Great customer service.

When I bought an R2 the guy said it had a warranty, but I thought it was just bullshit.

Well I guess it depends on the store, or maybe if you break it early, then you can call up TPS, send in the blade and recipt correct?

dgaronziks case is definately for a defective product.

Yes well I would think thats the only reason he got a replacement. I had a defective Z-Carobn and the guy said thats too bad, casue they don`t warranety blades.

Buddy of mine broke a Z-Carb after a couple of weeks and he got his replaced.

My situation went like this, bought blade, used it one game, started using it in a second and it cracked. I called the shop, they gave me TPS' number and I called them. They offered me a replacement and I sent in the blade with a copy of the receipt. Not sure if they actually have a warranty but they were nice enough to do that for me so I appreciate it. The date on the receipt was exactly one week prior to the postmark date on the package.

Man, I bought one a couple of days after they came out, used it for 2 games, and broke it. I called TPS and I sent it in, but they gave me 2 R2 wood blades instead since they had run out of stock supposedly. Haven't bought another R2 bladed since.

yeah they offered me 2 R2's or 2 X1's, I took the X1's. they are out of the PTC's till August or September they thought, who knows with the factory being downsized though.

They didn't give me a choice, I would have taken the 2 X1's and sold them lol.
