Hooah4 12 Report post Posted May 10, 2007 Not to get the topic off topic, cause we all know thats bad, but are they doing another Batman movie? I thought Batman begins (i think thats the one from 2005) was a good movie, and at the end it alludes to the Joker..Yes, Heath Ledger will play the Joker in Batman: the Dark Knight(2008)
VECHKIN08 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2007 I heard on the radio yesterday morning they have some sort of deal set-up to do up to spiderman 8!!! Something about completing the series portrayed in the comic books. Personally I have no clue about the spiderman comic book series so anyone know if there is truth to this. 8 is way too many sequels if you ask me...
Scurvy 3 Report post Posted May 10, 2007 I agree with others that the movie tried to include too many events and situations. I'm pretty sure that there will be Spider-Man 4 but I wonder what this movie has done to the fan base...
awall 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2007 I was very disappointed in the story. Too much with too little time. If they wanted to do the saga of the Black Suit, then stick to that. Goblin II and Sandman could have easily been their own story. ***********************Warning May Contain Spoilers **************************One pattern I just noticed, does Spidey ever defeat the villian on his own using his own skills and wits? Green Goblem impaled himself, Doc Oc had a moment when he returned from the dark side, Sandman petty much whimped out on his own and Venom was almost a solo deal, but he still had to have Goblin II step back from the darkside to help.In my opinion the writing sucked rocks and as someone pointed out the flaws in the story just portrayed to the weaknesses of the actors. There were some moments like the forced breakup where I was thinking "George Lucas writes a better love story than this!"The high points. The fight between Goblin II and Parker was great. I thought Goblin made good use of attacking Spidey in the air where he is vulnerable. That was one of my most favorite parts. The other part I really liked was that brief moment where Goblin and Spidey are working together at the end. You could easily do a good buddy movie on that.I really liked James Franko (sp?) as Harry Osborne and next to J.K. Simons they are some of the best actors in this film series. I'd really like them to give pink slips to Mcguire and Dunst from here on out. I alwasy thought Nick Brendon and Allison Hannigan from Buffy could have done the parts better. (whomever) they interviewed said when they did Spidey 1 the didn't know if they would do Spidey 2, after 2 they didn't know if they would do 3. As for another Spidey movie I believe they said that was unknown at the time as well.. If they continue to do movies that make as much money as these 3 have they probobly will continue to.. Its like they end them with a great possibilities for a sequel, so if they want to they easily can, so who knows..
