Easton Pro Stock Gloves

Recommended Posts

I'm currently thinking about buying some of the easton polyester nylon gloves from EWH and before I make my purchase I want to make sure everything will be fine. I currently am wearing NBH vapor XXX gloves 14" will the fit be close to it or very different and will a 14" glove fit me fine as well. Have any other members bought these gloves and how do you like them? Also anyone have any problems with EWH and shipping to Canada.

Thanks

i find that my eastons and bauers fit pretty close, i wear a 14 inch in both. Then again, i don't know if the pro gloves fit differently...

Have had both the XXX and polys from EWH. THe Easton Polys fit alot more like Eagles than Bauers. I like the Eastons more, but I like a loose fitting glove

i agree with saba, ive used the retail XXX's and i have a pair of the poly eastons up for sale in the sale forum, the eastons are a much looser fitting, and in my opinion longer glove.

The EWH store is one exit away from my company's HQ in the Bay area. I dropped by there one day and met them and they're very good guys. I ended up buying some stuff from them and they shipped it to me with no problems. I can't imagine why you'd have any problems.

I like going there and trying out sticks in the "shooting gallery" that they have.

It was a little sad seeing how pitiful my MPH per shot was but I say it's because I was wearing my dress shoes and pants and a button up shirt! The pucks felt heavier than on ice too. And the sun was in my eyes...

Would you then suggest going down a size to a 13"easton poly from a 14"XXX? Also how do you like your easton polys?

^ haha , What did you reach?

I think my top was the high 40's. I was just trying one timers though without much of a windup. I didn't feel right trying to knock the crap out of the puck with someone else's sticks.

If you like the fit of Eagles you will like these if you prefer a snugger glove like the XX this is not the glove for you

SO your saying that they are extremely big and a smaller size than normal is a must or is its just a looser fitting gloves like eagles and dont need to change sizes?

sfael- i think a drop down one inch definatly wouldnt hurt. i have rather large hands (over 8" long) and i could definatly wear a 13" glove in these just to give you a point of refrence

Ok thanks a bunch so ill porbably go with a 13" glove since you can wear a 13" with hand over 8" long. ALso do you know what the sizing of the gloves is similar to so i can go to my LHS and try on something compareable just to make sure.

you might want to consider length moreso than how tight you want the glove... this glove just might not be right for you as far as closing the gap from the cuff of the glove to the elbow pads. If you want something tighter you might want to consider a vector or RBK or even if you want tighter a supreme.

If all else fails and you end up ordering a size you feel is too big or too small then you can always return them for a diffrent size. I use a pair of the Easton prostocks too and I love them.

The 13" and 14" measurement what part is that measuring the whole length? or until the end of the cuff? or what? Shouldnt a 14" glove be the same size as an another 14" glove?

The 14" and 13" I think is the entire length of the glove. There is also a diffrence in finger length between a 14" and 13" inch glove. As for your question on two 14" gloves being the same length, do you mean from two diffent companies? I don't really know the answer but I would think they would be the same.

What my question was is how come this easton poly 14" is said to be quite bigger than a normal 14". What part of a 14" glove is the same and waht part is different.

gloves are made loose, medium and tight... that's where a lot of the differences are. The length is generally close across the board, generally... but how they measure length could be the difference between two gloves. Finger length to palm length may differ from company to company, slightly or more noticeable.

My Eagle X-50 and my NBH one90s both measure their given size(14" and 15" respectfully) with the hand of the glove closed.

As others have said...finger length varies with even the same glove. I have skinny hands but long fingers, so I need to wear 15" gloves because of my fingers...I have since I was a teen adjusting to a roomier glove for the finger length. I love a bigger glove now...just wear underarmour gloves underneath.

UA batting gloves? I couldn't do it, not only would they not fit(they are slender and longer as you mentioned) but it would feel very awkward wearing two gloves, in my opinion.

Oddly enough the only batting gloves I feel comfortable in are eastons. Wider across the palm with about average finger length, I like my fingers filling the entire glove. I simply can't fit my hand in an UA glove... well not an XL at least, do they make a XXL? NM, I'm steering off course again, haha. :P
