All,

The S15 are the best. I have wide feet and tried almost every skates. I went from a reebok 9k to these. The reebok never fit me just right. I even hand them baked and punch out. With the S15 I have about 20 hours on the skate. They fit like a glove since day one.

I personnally don't have them, but I know someone who does and one thing I am sure he told me is that he skates barefoot and is finding that the liner is chaffing (sp?) his skin, but other then that he likes them. Also don't forget to search, there is probably some useful information out there (and by 'there' I mean in this site)

I just got a custom pair a few weeks ago and couldnt be happier. I ordered them with the cotton fluffy tongue. There is one difference i noticed with the customs that dont come on stock and that is the top portion of the tendon guard is made with a leather/synthetic material instead of the new lining inside the S15's. I guess this cuts down on the material rubbing and chaffing your tendon. I didnt order it as part of my custom options but it just came that way. The other thing that is a little different since i got the cotton tongues is that its a little tighter of a fit by the toe cap. Just feels like theres a little more pressure pushing down as compared to the stock skate. I also threw on a pair of Tuuk Custom blade and holders. All in all this is a great skate, very light and comfortable. My ankle fits in nice and snug, when laced up it fits like a shoe!!

Almost impossible to notice a 40-50 gram difference. Can I feel the difference between a One90 and a Bauer 7000? Yes. But not a One90 to a S15.

Think about it. 453.6 grams per pound. At 900 grams, the S15 is 1.984 pounds. A One90 @ 950 grams is 2.094 pounds. That is a 5.25% difference in weight.

Now...if you can feel that difference in weight, you need to move to Columbia and help revive the Medellin Cartel.
