Easton composite boots

What's the word on composite boots? Have they been successful?

And does anybody notice Easton's "COIL" technology at work?

Just did a thread on another site about the 1300's . I personally love the fit and the lightness of the new composite boots Easton is producting. Apparantly so does Daney Heatlley and Daniel Brier and several other Buffalo Sabres. It really is a personal preference issue. You need to try a pair out for yourself and make your own assessment. Performance wise they are a very good skate. The Razor Blades holder is not one of the best on the market but you could always swap them for a pair of Lightspeeds or Pitch 3's. Some guys have had problems with the top part of the composite boot cutting into their ankles but it seems this is only a small portion of the people who have tried them. Like I previously said you'll need to go try them out yourself and if your not one of these guys with the ankle biting issues you may find them a very comfortable skate.
