Has anyone heard/dealt with these guys before? (www.global-hockey.com)

They seem to have all of the authentic RSL jerseys made by Lutch. Any name/number for $60US just seems a little too good to be true but I'm interested in the Dynamo jerseys. Thoughts?

EDIT: Also, does anyone know if they fit the same as the jerseys here?

Terry's a fantastic guy. I got my Moscow White Bears' goalie-cut jersey for $60 from him last summer: it showed it up fast, it beat me home from my honeymoon. Lutch jerseys are absolutely gorgeous, and durable as hell.

Yes, the sizing is the same: a 56 here is a 56 there.

The website's new, but I think he does still do a little business on eBay.

Yes, I've heard of these guys before and haven't seen any complaints.Very reasonable prices and service/quality is pretty decent. For $60 you really can't go wrong.

The jerseys are sublimated, but names/numbers are stitched I assume.

There is another site for Russian SL (and other) jerseys. www.russianjerseys.com. They offer (for the same price if I recall) jerseys with the name in Cyrillic.

Russian League jersey don't have fight straps do they...Do the Nt'l team (Olympic/WC etc...) have them?

Are logos, numbers and name stitched? And do they let you get names in Russian?

jbyun - I can tell you that the Lutch numbers ARE dye-sublimated, but I can't speak to the names. The White Bears' jersey I ordered didn't come with a name because the team doesn't use them (they're an odd team with a lot of player turnover, or so I understand). Terry himself would be able to tell you whether or not the names are sublimated, but I *believe* they are. As to names in Russian characters, again, I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it's entirely do-able. He gets his jerseys direct from the Lutch factory (tends to piggyback smaller orders on team orders), and they would of course have the ability to use Cyrillic characters at that factory.

Don't know anything about the fight straps...

wickedlite - the eBay name is "global_hockey". He'll occasionally have unbelievable deals up there, like a batch of Amur practise jerseys (impossible to get) he was tossing off for $20 or so.

If you've got questions, contact the man himself. He and I shot a good six-round conversation back and forth before I ordered.

I am happy to see that I am on your discussion board and there are a few questions that have been asked and so I guess I am the person to answer them for you. Russian Jerseys do not have fight straps, as fighting is not allowed in Russia so no need for them. Names are placed on the jersey by Dye Sublimation, same as the numbers and logos. This process means the names and numbers are actually built into the jersey, there is no peeling or cracking of letters, and the jersey is actually lighter because there are no heavy letters sewn on it. Also, Dye sublimation makes the jersey cooler because there is nothing blocking the airflow. As far as sizing goes, these are north american sizes, an XL CCM, Bauer, Starter, etc will be the same as a Lutch. For example a size 52 which is an XL has the measuremetns of 26 inches from arm pit to arm pit and is 30 inches long from collar to hem. As far as the Lutch product goes, they supply about 95 percent of jerseys to Russia, estonia, Latvia, Belarus, The Ukraine, some German Jerseys and some National Team jerseys. Over 200 team to be exact. I carry them all. If you have any questions about my jerseys, please respond here or email me. Thank you
