fatwabbit 93 Report post Posted May 19, 2007 both teams played WAYYYY below par. I'd rather Chelsea win, doesnt give Man U the chance to strut their arrogance like they always do. Chelsea clamped Rooney down till he didnt get the ball for like 15 min in the second half.Champions League Final this Wed/Thu... GO REDS! YOU"LL NEVER WALK ALONE! Allsmokenopancake 0 Report post Posted May 21, 2007 pity that Dudek and Fowler will be out next season... fowler is a footballing God...Truer words were never spoken...Out of Owen, Heskey and Fowler, I can't believe they got rid of Fowler first.StupidFowler, Rushie, Whelan and Jelly legs are my alltime Kop favorites
fatwabbit 93 Report post Posted May 21, 2007 Rushie was my idol, then Fowler... Owen and Heskey combined wouldnt be able to do what Fowler could do himself.
daca 0 Report post Posted May 21, 2007 Liverpool does have a strong team, and sure enough the owner of the Dallas Stars is co-owner, along Gilette (i think that's his name from the Habs). They just need to translate the European success on to the Prem, seriously. One of the more enjoyable teams to watch when they're in good form.
Allsmokenopancake 0 Report post Posted May 21, 2007 I got to go see Liverpool play spurs for my 16th birthday. Took the ferry from Dun Laoghire across, then the bus to Anfield.Liverpool won, 2-1, with goals by Barnes and Rush. With the exception of being at park head when Laarson scored against St. Johnson to seal the league for Celtic (under Wim Jansen at the time), so rangers couldn't make it 10 in a row and beat the mark they matched with Celtic of 9 in a row, that was the best sporting event I have ever been to.
