T'blades

Recommended Posts

I went to a hockey store that sells t'blades this weekend and the guy working there said that putting t'blades on one 90's would hinder your performance because they worked against why the one 90s were made. Is this true, and should i get t'blades on my one 90s because i have no good sharpeners around and can't get my skates profiled.

would this be the same store that would sharpen your skates? Because if they can't sharpen skates they probably aren't good at giving advice on what's best for skates. ;)

No it isn't the same store that sharpens my skates. I have to go out of town to find a store that sells hockey equipment.

that really sucks. I don't think that it's true. I know that someone on here has or had some one90s with t'blades, hopefully he can chime in here.

But as JR(I think it was JR) has said when it comes to t'blades: "They always go back to steel."

I'm thinking whoever that you spoke with is under the impression that the One90 boot was designed specifically for the longer steel on the LS2 holder, which isn't necessarily the truth.

Personally, I've been using T'Blades for about three years now, and have no intention of going back to conventional steel any time in the near future. Ridiculous looks and horrendous noise aside, I like the way they perform.

I said that, and with my sharpenings, it's never failed.

i love my t'blades!

they're not for everone though.

if you're having problems with skate sharpening, why not try to find someone willing to let you ship them your steel and ship them back to you?

you'll have to have AT LEAST 2 sets of blades, but look at the alternatives.

they're not that hard to change, are they?

I tried them out on my Grafs and I liked them, but I decided to sell them and I got some One90s myself and I plan to stick with the LS2Powers.

But if you are interested in trying them depending on what size skate you wear, I have a T'Blade system for sale, pm me if you're interested.
