they're definitely comfortable, I would probably buy another pair next year.. I've had mine since February and they're holding up okay and I use them everday.

As for the benefits, not much i've noticed.

I have a pair--they are for foot drills, etc and use them for weight training. I used them with Plyo drills but that was on carpet--I wouldn't try them on a hard surface for Plyos. And don't forget that for weight training you really do need a true cross-trainer shoe. Some of you are mentioning running shoes and those are not really designed for weight training.

i know there's been topics on this and there weren't any last year but are there any online retailers that carry the nikebauer ones. i'm not gonna lie, i know they're the same, i just want the logo.

I agree. They look like they serve a function but I can't get over their looks.

oh, they are quite ugly. it took a dsports sale and coupons for me to plunk down and get them.

The new ones have more of a 'snug' fit compared to last year's model. The mid-sole is still the same. The strap on an angle helps give the shoe more support as compared to last year's shoe. The standard lacing system is better than the previous model. You guessed it, I like this year's model better than the '06 version.
