NWoodhockey17 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2007 ok, i have one90's and have been considering puting some new tuuks that are a little less, umm, purple. i took a look at the bottom of my skate and the LSP holes that are already in the skate do not match up with the LS2 holders. so, could i drill new holes? it looked awefully close and these are expensive skates and i want them to last. but how close is too close to drill new holes. also, if i wanted to put white tounges on them, what would be the best way to attach them. thanks in advance
JR Boucicaut 3809 Report post Posted May 29, 2007 Yes, and if you want them to last, leave the holder on.You sew tongues on with an industrial sewing machine.
NWoodhockey17 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2007 do you think i could get through until next summer? they probably won't go on for about a month, and then i would need them till June
kovalchuk71 212 Report post Posted May 29, 2007 How often do you skate?
Ankles 3 Report post Posted May 30, 2007 to put LS2s on you have to use the next size up. For example if your LSP holders and 272s, then you have to use 280 LS2s. All the holes will match up beautifully except for the two at the toes, but they will only be slightly off. Also, if you use the next size on you LS2s, you can use the same steel from you LSPs. NWoodhockey17 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2007 i skate about 6 times a week for an 1.5 hours a day. and i have an extra pair of 272 LS2's and my one90's are a size 7, and they have 263's, so if i took the LSP steel and put it in the extra LS2 holders, then it should work except for the two holes at the toes, right? thanks alot

hyprlte 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2007 I am positive he most likely had to widen holes.is that a bad thing? ive been on them for about one month and they seemed ok to me. They told me that i had to stick with the 272 size for it to fit.As for the sizing, when I had the ls2p's on it felt like a longer blade, with the ls2's on they just felt short at first, but now they feel like a normal skate to me
