I'm a wings fan, and I agree 100% with you. Being a leader is showing by exemple, and Cheli not shaking hands at the end of the ducks series is not a good exemple.

definitely agree. also the fact his excuse of "oh i just wasnt in the mood to shake anyones hands" was so poor he should not be allowed to talk

I think this is just about the lamest award in any major sport. The only "good" thing is that they name the winner now and not at the NHL awards ceremony.

Wasn't it supposed to be a monthly award...the only person I recall "winning' it during the season was Shanny...and that was right after they announced that the award existed.

That article says 5 other players won it...Who were the other winners?
