JR Boucicaut 3808 Report post Posted June 6, 2007 I like the vest-style chest of the R8, but the caps/arms are beastly. The shin shell is Jofa-like, however with more cushioning inside. The pads are hot though - not very breathable.

Those caps look big too.Shawn
JR Boucicaut 3808 Report post Posted June 6, 2007 Yes. Similar to the old Jofa x800 caps.
Chadd 916 Report post Posted June 6, 2007 I'm not a big fan, they are very hot and surprisingly heavy. Then again, I wear pretty minimal stuff.
elevation 1 Report post Posted June 6, 2007 caps on the R8 are smaller than the Summits...the vest looks quite breathable to me...as long for the shins, how is the R8 compared to the 9k, this is also not ventilatet, or, I only saw the 6k? I am between the 9k and R8 stuff for this season and have to decide...
