spartansniper 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 I was thinking about getting a vapor Xv and im most worried about durability of course, but alson wondering if anyone had any input on feel, performance and such. also i forget wat post it was in said the xv blade is in competition with the sicore blade, how so? does the xv have something in it to dampen passes and give better feel as well? Thanx in advance.
JR Boucicaut 3804 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 XV blade is the same thing as the TFG = Wave-Bridge.
chippa13 1844 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 I've been happy with my Vapor XV blade. I haven't written a full review because, to be honest, I'm too lazy. Like JR said, the puck feel is exactly the same as the Wavebridge because it is basically the same thing. I can't judge durability because I haven't had it long enough. I find the feel to be great. I didn't realize how good the feel was on that blade until I used a regular synthesis blade again last night. The bummer I've found around here is the limited availability of these blades. third man in 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 I've had an XV shaft (87 flex) paired with an XV blade (gagne...p10 = shanahan clone) for some time now. I find the blade's feel to be great...not too hard, but not too soft. The shaft has a good kick and the only thing I had to get used to was the concave walls. The grip is nice and hasn't shown much wear yet...no cracking or serious chips on the shaft or blade as they've been holding up pretty well.

Last night I just decided to bring different sticks to my game and I didn't bring the one with the XV blade in it.
Brandonov22 0 Report post Posted July 15, 2004 I love the fact that the grip doesn't come off as easily as it does on say a z-bubble. As for the blade, I havn't tried the XV, but I do think the 7500 blades are very durable for being wood.
