Easton S7 glove

Hey I am looking for a good glove that has a protective cuff and the S7 has the smart cuff thing that I like but i dont know if the rest of the glove is any good.

Have you tried it on? A lot of people don't like the smart cuff. I had no real complaints about it but I haven't played with a pair with the smart cuff.

One glove I'd recommend against is the Supremes. They have a spot on the top of the wrist, right over the NBH logo that hurts a LOT if you get tagged there.

Most of the Easton line in gloves have pretty decent protection at the top of the hand and fingers area so thats not an issue. The thumb is stiff and flexes on the inside on the palm area. The whole thumb piece doesn't flex like the thumb section on Nike/Bauer gloves but that's a personal preference issue. The protection is a little scanty at the side of the little finger area but not too bad. (something Easton seems to skimp on a bit and could improve on) The smart cuff on the S-7 seems to be a lot more flexible than on some of Eastons other models (which incidentally I really like) and nicely covers the top of the wrist area,and seems to give you just as much protection as if you where wearing the PU wrist protectors,that you can buy separately for under your gloves. I personally like the smart cuff and it doesn't bother my play at all but other guys seem to prefer a glove that comes to,or slightly overlaps their elbow pad. You will need to try the smart cuff and see for yourself weather you like it or not. It's a personal preference issue.

Have you considered the Synergy 900s? They've got the smart cuff and IMO they're a nicer glove. They're on clearance at hockey monkey.
