RadioGaGa 162 Report post Posted June 26, 2007 sad sad day! the world lost a great competitor! :(In a lot of ways he was a hockey player in a Wrestlers body.[EDIT] Odd, Since Vince McMahon's "death" there have been 2 deaths in the WWE family. Sensational Sherrie and now Chris Benoit. These WWE tributes are so surreal. Seeing these guys out of character and being themselves remembering a friend and colleague. RadioGaGa 162 Report post Posted June 26, 2007 Just been confirmed by police that chris murdered his wife and son, then killed himself. There were no signs of gunshot wounds or stabbing. The article I read said that the "instruments of the deaths" were still at the location. I believe that was the term I read...
mack 44 Report post Posted June 26, 2007 That...couldn't be more of a vague description at all. And no, I haven't heard anything on Beck but my assumption is substance-related as well.
RadioGaGa 162 Report post Posted June 26, 2007 That...couldn't be more of a vague description at all. And no, I haven't heard anything on Beck but my assumption is substance-related as well.I just pictured a weapon of some kind when I read that...but later read, no evidence of shooting or stabbing. As for Beck...I won't be the least bit surprised if that is the outcome. D-MaN88 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2007 According to this article on the WWE website, it was in fact a double murder-suicide; apparently the WWE has more details on what really happened but the police are telling them to hold that info: (link below) :WWE Article

usahockey22 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2007 I think the murder-suicide thing will overtake any "accomplishments" that he might have had; jumping around on a fake wrestling mat, wearing tights, juiced on steroids...
tomh7 2 Report post Posted June 26, 2007 This is just sad. I grew up watching the Rabid Wolverine battle through hell and earn the respect of his opponents, colleagues, and fans. I always thought he was one of the more classy and respectable performers in wrestling. I can only wonder what all of the punnishment he went through during his career contributed to his downfall (assuming the reports of murder suicide are true). As for Vincent McMahon, I think the whole limo bomb was a publicity stut and that he was not harmed. He will be back.
