Hockey Glove Question

Recommended Posts

Ive been using different sized gloves for the past few years, and Im curious, is it considered the "correct" size if your fingers go to the end of the glove? Is it ok so have a little room for your fingers (say 1/4-1/2")? Or is the correct size just if it covers the area between your hand and your arm? Thanks!

Most people I've talked to have said that your fingers aren't supposed to go to the end of your gloves AND there shouldn't be a gap between your glove cuff and your elbow pads. This is for maximum protection. When it comes to reality, I think it's personal preference.

it's all personal preference. But if your fingers go to the tips of your gloves you might want to clip your fingernails often because you can chew them up over time and it might bother you(seams getting caught on your fingernails).
