New Stick

Recommended Posts

I need a new stick because the toe chipped pretty badly on my synergy 300.. I'm looking for something under 150 that isnt pro stock... I use a sakic curve and really like it so I want somthing close to that curve... Any suggestions would be great. I really want a warrior stick and I was wondering if the royale or shogun were any good. I play in a hs league...

Any suggestions would be great...

The Response Rubber feels like a great stick. Nash is the similar curve to Sakic. They're going for $119 CND here. Or look at a Sher-Wood RM7 too. There also around the same price.

Royale and Shogun sticks aren't bad. I use the Synergy ST and an SE, and i love both of them. Another route you could go was the Bauer XXX. Aside from breaking that, i loved that stick.

The Royale is a great stick for the price.

Picked mine up for $89.99 at my LHS.

Broke the blade at the heel after about 4 months.

Which brings me around to the question I keep wanting to ask but keep forgetting: Can you heat and pull the blade from the Royale or is it a "true" OPS?

Sorry to threadjack. :/

I highly doubt that the Royale is a True OPS seeing as to how the Dolomite, a higher-end stick from the same company, is a fused two-piece. Then again, I could be wrong.

Absolutely love my Warrior Dolomite. Can't give feedback on durability but everything else about the stick is awesome. Wehn it breaks, if it does, i'll definitely be getting the same thing. If you use a sakic curve then get the draper for warrior sticks.

Is your limit of 150 bucks US or canadian? BEcause you can get Dolomites relatively close to that number from US online stores.

It's like 5-10 USD higher than $150.

I think his whole purpose is to not spend every penny of his extra money on a stick.

So I think the Dolomite would be out of the question for him.-

Most Vapor XXX lite's are still 180, or 160. If you buy an older model, like an 05, then they are around 100. The only difference i know between them is that the logos on the 05 are just bauer, not NIKE/BAUER.
