New Glove

Recommended Posts

Just got this new beast today

Any ideas how to speed up the break in process? It was baked already and ive been playing with it for a while now too but still feels pretty stiff.

Also let me know what you think of it/them

My buddy takes a soft ball and puts it in the pocket and ties it closed after every use until it's ready to use for the first month or so. I used to just put it on every chance I could(like when watching tv) and just open and close the glove over and over and over.

Bake it again. And Again. I think I baked my brothers Summit glove 3 times before it felt nice. It will be really soft once you bake it a few more times. Just make sure you don't bake it for too long.

Squirt a little Murphy's Oil onto the inside and outside of the palm - should help keep everything supple, particularly as you're baking it; should speed up the break-in; and will keep your glove smelling nice!

Mothers love this stuff for cleaning wood furniture.

As someone said tape it closed with as many pucks as you can cram in the trap...then after about a day tape the glove open...ie open it the opposite way (bend it backwards) and tape it like that for a day. After a day of each you will notice a big difference.
