Old school Vapor fit

I'm in need of some quick help, I found a pair of almost brand new old school Vapor 10 skates in a size 8.5D for an unbelievable price. My question is, I currently fit perfectly in a 9D Vapor XX so I was wondering if I could wear the 8.5s fine? I don't know how the older Vapors fit compared to the current line?

I remember going from 7.5D 10 to 7D XX but I would chop my toes off to fit into a pair of new Vapor 10s if need be.

I think the fit is the same. I wore the same size Bauer from Supreme 100s to the XX.

The old vapor line has the same fit as the old Supreme's, Bauer air's, micron 10-90's and bauer 8090's. Not the same as 05-06 vapors.

The fit is the same, numerical sizing is not.

So am I right in assuming these would be a tad bit too short in length? Or is it possible they would be fine?

The 8090s had a totally different fit. Much, much wider and deeper-they felt two sizes too big on my feet compared to the same size XX.

The fit of the older Bauers (100 Supreme onward) has continued through the Vapor line with the exception that the Vapor XXXX has a different toe box

Welp, doesn't matter anymore unless I can find another pair. Someone snagged them up on eBay. Oh well, thanks for all the help though guys, even though I didn't really feel comfortable getting them, I now know if I find a pair what to look for and if they would fit.

If the price is 'unbelievable', get them and if they dont fit you can drop them via eBay.

Well.. Iv'e had Bauer supreme 2000's, Supreme 4000's, Air 90's, Old vapor 6's and now i have a pair of XIX's. They don't fit the same..

Iv'e allways had D width in old bauers. With newer vapors i'm in 2E

and what i know, the 8090's had a classic supreme fit, but with little more volume.
