I don't think that the grey Superfeet insoles are supposed to be heat molded with the skates. Someone please corect me if I'm wrong.

I've been told by some you can, and told by others you can't. Regardless, you can take the insoles out and have the boots baked then put them back in when you're lacing up.

It's not necessary if your not having fit issues. I rebaked my skates after putting the superfeet in because my ankles didn't line up properly with the previous mold and was causing me discomfort.

Usually its not a good idea to heat up that glue that holds the superfeet plastic to the insole. Not reccommended by superfeet.

Not sure what rep told you this but if you have the skate int he oven for less than 5 mins as most skates are needing less than that.....it doesnt affect the glue at all...

Its not near the temp to seperate the glue from the hard plastic and the other part of the insole.

We had the Cdn sales manager and he said there are no issues as long as the oven isnt over the 170 180 mark and less than the normal 4 to 5 min.

I have personally found it works wonders in a tight heeled skate so that it sits flatter in the boot.

I was thinking of getting a re-bake but for not quite the same reason.

My One90s fit great around the ankle but are a little wide on either side of ... I guess I could describe it as my metatarsal bone region(both sides).

My shop first heats the skates in the oven and after we tie them on has us sit with our feet in the CCM F-I-T- System machine.

Would repeating this procedure help in making the skate fit tighter? Or will it expand the skate thus being counter productive?

Baking is overrated unless your dealing with one90s. Baking a second time is even more overrated.

Not necessarily. I like to do an initial bake, then skate, then a rebake. Absolutely hate breaking-in skates - before I had to do field testing I used to give them to a teammate and have them do it.
