hockeys tores in buffalo/Amherst/ Niagara region

I'm travelling from T.O. to the buffalo, ny region so thought i would stop by if there any good lhs in the area, planning on buying gloves, something like eagle or mia, maybe even nbh, any advice?

Yeah, great skate for gear but if you have to get your skates

sharpened there, hold your breath and say a prayer that the edges come out even. Also if you ask for a certain hollow, the kids in the back cant seem to understand how fractions work. 3/ths equals 7/16th at great great. Sorry but

they have burned me many a times.

Front Row Sports in the Amherst Pepsi Center has some Eagle and Mission mitts in the shop - but nothing any good - mostly lower-end junior-intermediate sized stuff in some rather interesting colors. Your best bet for gloves, sadly, would probably be Great Skate.

...and in a slight twist of irony, I just got off the phone with the manager (who is now my new boss) at FRS (which is now my new place of employment). Pretty pumped to get a job at a shop in a rink - and the fact that the rink is right across the street from campus makes it all the better.

i ended up going to greatskate, picked up a pair of nbh vapor XX for $100usd compared to $199 cdn plus tax, did not pay any duties at the border, lol
