Were I not a Michigan fan, I'd be caught-up-in and rooting for all these ridiculous upsets. But, I am Michigan fan, and this season has sucked from the very beginning.

Kosy, the way Dixon tweaked his knee again, wow that looked painful.

Before that though, the guy can flat out fly. Depressing hit to the team with him out, that's for sure.

Its just sick, there is no getting around it. As of right now we're out our Heisman quarterback, two starting receivers, our 1B running back, two starting linebackers, another running back, plus one receiver and and our 1A running back didn't finish the game tonight. The game was a heartbreaker. On Cason's punt return there was not one, but two blatant clips that went uncalled. The two fumble calls that went Arizona's way were way too close. I'm not saying the Ducks should have won, the whole thing is just sick. I've never seen the town so dead before.

At least he shares my sentiments regarding Hawaii. Colt Brennan can suck it.

Someone needs to check on Kosy; I fear he may have harmed himself.

I'm surviving. Looking back on this season, its just sick how it all went down. Being less than a yard away from the outright #1 in the nation for a team that wasn't supposed to amount to anything to ending the year dropping three straight. I could handle the last two losses because you can write them off to injuries. I can't deal with the loss to the Beavers though, especially in that fashion. I will say this though, seeing Dixon walk through the tunnel during senior day was one of the most bittersweet sports moments of my life. Almost brought a tear to my eye, and I know I wasn't alone.

This season was like what happened in The Mist. I hope it prompts the realization that there has to be a playoff.

I know they play in the WAC - but June Jones has turned out some pretty good QB's from time to time. How can you hate on a guy who regularly throws for 400+ yards and 4 or 5 TD's...before the 4th quater. People say he's a system QB, but he is just a plain good QB - playing in a good system.

It's teams like Hawaii, that go around pounding on the teams from their conference, finish unbeaten (and with something like 1 loss in the past two seasons combined?!?) but can't play for the title because of a crappy computer formula, that their should be a playoff system. It will never happen simply because of the amount of money college football makes off the bowl games but it sucks that good teams get cheated every year.

I didn't watch the second half of the Hawaii/Wash game, but from what I saw and the final score I wouldn't say that they deserve to be in a BCS game. Washington is not a good team at all, and Hawaii struggled with them. Jake Locker is a stud, but any team that thinks they should be in a BCS game should have rolled over the Huskies.

The WAC blows ass and Hawaii's non-conference schedule consists of schools like Northern Colorado, UNLV, Charleston Southern and Washington. I'm not impressed. They're going to have to play some games against some programs of notoriety before I'll think about taking them seriously. Hell, even SUNY Buffalo is scheduling games against Rutgers and Penn State...and they're not even trying to make a case for recognition as a contender for the top spot(s) in the nation.

They're doing it for the money, not any other reason. SUNY Buffalo gets a bigger payday playing those teams on the road than they would get from a normal opponent at home.

Well, that and national exposure. Getting their heads kicked-in by Penn State drums-up more interest in the program than a win over Temple does. I'm sure they're hoping recognition of the program will grow in the years to come and that it will make recruiting a little better/easier.

The fact that Hawaii is choosing not to take that big payday AND show what they can do against a powerhouse program makes me think that they don't think they can hang with the big boys and that their afraid they'll be exposed as what they truly are. Until Hawaii grows a collective pair and puts themselves on the table, I find it difficult to consider them as potential poll-toppers.

At least Boise State is scheduling with good teams. They're playing the Ducks next season (supposedly in Beijing), and I think they have another strong non-conference game, too.

I don't care how weak Hawaii's schedule is, they're the only undefeated team in the NCAA, and a two loss team (one of them to an unranked) should not be in the national championship ahead of them. I'm not saying Hawaii is a better team that LSU, but they didn't choke like LSU has... twice. And even if you do go by the better team, LSU should not be in. USC should. Either way, I don't believe a two loss team deserves the opportunity to be the national champions.

I never thought I'd be defending LSU because I absolutely hate Les Miles, but they are the far superior team. The two times they "choked" were in double OT at #17 Kentucky and against a good Arkansas team in triple overtime. LSU played seven top 25 teams this season against Hawaii's one (which was ranked lower than all seven of the teams LSU played). Its nearly impossible for teams to get through the SEC (or PAC 10 for that matter) undefeated anymore. In the WAC it just comes down to Hawaii v Boise State to decide who is the undefeated team that year.

I know. Like I said, on any other given year, I don't think Hawaii deserves to play in the national championship. And I don't believe they are in the top two this year. However, it is unacceptable, in my mind, to have a two loss team in to win the title. Put Kansas in there: they are just as deserving as OSU (conference champs, 1 loss, that to a highly ranked team). I agree, LSU is much better than Hawaii, but if they honestly are the second best team in the country, they shouldn't have even been in overtime with those two teams they lost to, let alone lose to them.

And pretty much, the basis for the arguement for LSU is that their losses were overtime losses. Well USC's losses came when they were playing with a backup QB. How are they not just as deserving as LSU.

My main point wasn't that Hawaii is the best team in the nation because they're undefeated, just that LSU doesn't deserve to play for the national championship with two losses.

EDIT: Had to add this little section

Seriously though, I'm glad Ohio State lost, I couldn't stomach them getting absolutely dumped on by an SEC team in the BCS title game a second year in a row. Uggh.

Haha, so much for that plan.
