verticle stripe socks

OK, so me and Grazstrom were watching the Blue Jackets training camp over the weekend. We were joking that Peca had his socks on backwards (stripe was on the back of his leg). The rest of the bluejackets had the stripe on the front. Now that i've looked at pics/video from around the league it seems as though Peca was the only on wearing them correctly and the rest of the Jackets were wrong because the rest of the league has the stripe on the backside as well. personal opinion, I think it looks better on the front but i was just curious if anybody knows for sure which way they are supposed to be worn.

What jerseys are teams wearing in practice? They appear to be Edge practice jerseys and different than the Rbk 2700's team wore last year (tighter in the arms, etc)
