Getting A New Shaft

Recommended Posts

the synthesis is a bunch of easton marketing propoganda, the ditched the t-flex, brought out the synthesis and then price gouged customers and duped them into thinking that they came out with something newer. Taper is the same, blades will fit in both and whatnot. People are dumb, what can I say?

eh jack, i dunno where you live but if you want, I can try and track a bunch down and then hold em for you. I doubt that you'll find any though. We had a sale and then they were gone in like a day or two.

yah, the one I found was burried in the back of a stick rack at another store. I feel sorry for the poor bastard that tried to hide the thing. Too bad, you snooze you loose.

I was just wondering, I have too many shafts and the t-flexes already need a longer plug for me.

yah, works for me cause I use really short sticks, better for puck handling. But I have no reach when I poke check. Eh jack, have you tried a t-flex with a synthesis hybrid blade or an R2 and how does it compare to a OPS, more specifically a regular synergy and the si-core.

I have a Response shaft with a wood R2 blade in it. I still think the best combo is a long hosel t-flex blade in a Response shaft. I never used an R2 but I've tried Synth shafts and blades and I've never been happy with the feel of Synergys. I did like the gold grips though. I find that the long wood hosel flexes more easily for wristers and snappers. A synth with a long hosel t-flex blade is ok, but not as good.

I've played 2 games with my new XV with a comp synth blade. Amazing for stickhandling, shots are ok too but you really have to put more effort into the shaft compart to my synthesis. However if you do get a good one off its like a laser. Good balance and accurate. I love the longer taper the most though. They say 20'' haven't measured yet. One minus so far; the grip is just a thin film which is quickly peeling. I'll try and get a full review in once a play a few more games, but so far I got 4pts in 2 games with it after a 6 game slump.

I would recommend it if you like z-bubbles cause it too has a skinny feel cause of the taper.
