New Fuel Stick?

Recommended Posts

I was at the Blues/Wild preseason game last night and it appeared as if some guy on the Wild was using a new Fuel stick. It was blue on the top part, then the Fuel symbol, then a flame design near the bottom. Am I just overthinking or is this some new stick?

Beat you to it, JR... But your picture is much bigger than mine.

And that raises the question: why would he have his Fuel be painted blue? I bet you're hiding something from us...

I take it that the stick launch will be with the rest of the gear in the spring, then.

What? You have for-sale the ones that have been out for a while now and everyone knows about: the ones with the red flames (which are great sticks, if I wasn't so tight on money right now you wouldn't have those anymore lol)

The blue ones are currently a mystery to *most*

??? I fail to see the relevance.

This isn't a question of what has put the puck in the net more times/at the higher level. Give a decent player an old Koho Revolution ABS street hockey stick and he'll still find a way to put the puck in the net. I'm just saying that my personal impressions of the stick are not good, and I've yet to meet someone who has used them who hasn't had something to complain about.

If he decides he likes it and wants to rock it, good for him. Same goes for anyone else. However, I get the impression that 1) David now has the resources to take things for test-drives with alarming frequency, and that's what he's doing and 2) the general consensus is that RBK might have missed the boat by a little bit with the 9k.
