misson free stick promo

its not that hes great..never had prb with him b4..and everyone else only wants him doing skates...i just cant see why all of a sudden this is happeing..b4 with new skates the would hurt then feel fine..now its the oppsite..

new update i came home yesterday for the weekend and the stick was sitting in my room my dad said it came he friday not sure why misson told me i wasnt going to get it..then it just shoew up either way i was happy!

As for your skate issue, I had a similar problem with my Pure Fly's. I started leaving the first set of eyelets down at the toe end of the skate unlaced which allowed for some extra room.

Also, there was a little 'ear' that extended back from the topcap inside the boot that rubbed my pinky toe raw. I trimmed that off with a razor knife and it also helped.

I realize this thread is about the promo from last year but I didn't think this question deserved its own thread. I purchased my skates and registered for my free stick before august 31st, but I didn't send my receipt and UPC until the 31st so Mission wouldn't have recieved them until the Promo was over. As long as my receipt shows that I bought the skates before the 31st, I should be fine right? I still haven't gotten the email saying that they've processed me so I'm a little concerned. How long did it take others to get their email or stick?

Did you register on their website prior to August 31st?

I haven't gotten a confirmation email either.... I registered on the site on the 30th or so, and didn't send the receipt, printout and check until the 1st or so.

I never got a conformation e-mail when I sent in everything in August. Best bet is to keep an eye on your checking account. It took a few weeks for them to process everything, but I had the stick within a couple days of my check clearing.

FYI I spoke to Mission today, and they informed me that they were waiting for stock to come in to fill the free stick orders. They are hopeful that many sticks can ship within the next month.

I actually spoke to someone at Customer Service on Monday, told me it would be here in Massachusetts 'either today or tomorrow (Tuesday)', sure enough, mine came this morning.
