padded shirts and inline upper body protectors

Recommended Posts

Can you wear those inline upper body protectors under your shoulder pads or would they be too bulky?

Is there a big fit difference between those and, say, a padded compression shirt?

If you need extra padding in a specific spot, I would look at the stuff from WSI. They do stuff for ribs and shoulders. If you need additional protection all over, I would upgrade the shoulder pads.

i have always liked WSI. Joel and the crew are really nice people and they make nice stuff. the new Mission Shirts from the Roller Line have more padding in the ribs this time around. i actually wear Hypertection in bear league- nothing bulletproof, but just enough.

I liked them and did a lot of business with them.

I've got shin sleeves from them (so-so) and a wicking headband (awesome, really opened my eyes toward wicking fabrics, just wish they made some with anti-microbial thread to cut the stink down).

However, I have to admit that their choice to wear their religious beliefs on their sleeves (well, that might be a strong way to put it) has me wondering if by supporting their products, I might indirectly be supporting an agenda I otherwise wouldn't want to be affiliated with.

I'm not a big fan of pushing any religion but they make good product, it's made in the USA and they always treated me well as a dealer. I still use their jocks and wear the micro-tech shirts for casual wear but I use Puckskin for games.
